The Yakima FreshTrack 4 delivers a sleek, compact roof-mount ski and snowboard carrier engineered for weekend trips and winter mountain adventures. Designed as a versatile transport system, the FreshTrack 4 comfortably holds up to four pairs of wide skis or two snowboards. Its tool-free universal mounting hardware installs quickly onto round, square, aerodynamic, and factory crossbars right out of the box. An oversized single-button release latch enables effortless operation even when wearing bulky winter gloves or mittens. For peace of mind, built-in SKS (Same Key System) lock cylinders are included to secure your equipment directly to the rack. The system also includes SkiLift clearance brackets to provide extra height over the roof, protecting your vehicle’s finish from tall binding interference.

Q: Are traditional tools required to install this?
A: No! Any tools required for installing this rack product come included in the box!

Q: Do my snowboards have to centered on a clamp style ski rack?
A: Not at all. How far apart the two ski rack clamps, and how wide your stance is set up on your board, is going to be different for everyone. If you're unable to fit both bindings between the two clamps it's just fine to load your board with one binding in front or behind. If you only have one board being loaded it's often best to load your board with your bindings facing down.

Q: Will this fit my car, and is it easy to install?
A: If your vehicle has crossbars this rack is easy and quick to install in about 15 minutes. If your vehicle doesn't have any crossbars then you will have to get those first (excluding the Thule Snowcat or SportRack Groomer 8, which only need raised rails to mount).
